FESTIVE FESTIVAL OF BANDS 2017

Many thanks to our whole community for a great show at Bay View Boat Club at the 5th annual Festive Festival of Bands.  It was a tremendous showcase of the amazing dedication of our teachers to their students, and our students to their journey to understand and perform live music.

We had some generous donations, and could not be more thankful for the much needed support.

WINTER 2018 PROGRAMMING

We're very excited to be offering the following programs this Winter season! Enrollment is always open!

TOM PETTY

Saturdays, 1:30 - 4:00p
January 13 - March 17

An artist that has been featured in Rock Project camp shows, Golden Gate Rockers, House Band sets, and the like, but never has a full season been devoted to this legend of Rock & Roll!  We can only hope to pay proper homage to this master of classic Rock & Roll.

ORIGINALS

Fridays, 5:00 - 7:30p
January 12 - March 16

Who's gonna keep us rock'n and roll'n? You! This program puts young songwriters together to allow them to express themselves with music and sound, and to learn invaluable interpersonal and group communication skills. Players will expand each other's musical sensibilities and hit the stage with a set of all-original material, composed and arranged by the entire group!

GOLDEN GATE ROCKERS

Thursdays, 5p-7p
January 11 - March 14

Catered to our newest and most-curious rockers, this program focuses on learning basic music concepts, like melody, harmony and rhythm, and establishing the foundation for proper instrument technique. Active and critical listening skills are developed through weekly rehearsals and private lesson instruction, culminating in a live end-of-season performance!

Interested rockers ages 7-10 are strongly encouraged to enroll!

Interested?

The first step to enrolling your student is to come in for an assessment lesson! Select a time that works best for you, fill out the rest, and we'll be in touch very shortly! You can always email us at info@rockprojectsf.org or call us anytime at (415) 495-ROCK.
