WINTER 2018 SHOW THEMES ANNOUNCED!

Scroll down below to check out what we're offering this upcoming Winter season (January - March 2018)!

FALL 2017 SEASON SHOW

Our Fall 2017 season show at Thee Parkside on November 12th was a huge success! Our ORIGINAL SONGWRITING students started the show off with an onslaught of roaring new tunes before the GOLDEN GATE ROCKERS turned up the volume with their selection of rock'n'roll favorites. Our JIMI HENDRIX performance project gave us a glorious tribute to one of rock's great legends and the students in our THE POLICE project got us all to pay respect to the hard work and tenacity that rock'n'roll demands of its players.

We couldn't be more thankful and appreciative for your attendance that afternoon! And if you couldn't make it, as always, more shows to come!

Missed Our Town Hall Meeting?

On October 7th, we held a Town Hall Meeting for our community, to discuss future direction and goals for the SFRP. You can stream it here or listen to it on youtube.

WINTER 2018 PROGRAMMING

We're very excited to be offering the following programs this Winter season! Enrollment is always open!

THE RAMONES

Saturdays, 1:30 - 4:30p
January 13 - March 17

The forefathers of Punk Rock. Another group that Rock Project has not yet dedicated an entire season to, and let's face it: that's got to change.

TOM PETTY

Saturdays, 1:30 - 4:30p
January 13 - March 17

We'll be running down a dream, not backing down and making it last all night. Here's an artist that has been featured in Rock Project camp shows, Golden Gate Rockers, House Band sets, and the like, but never has a full season been devoted to this legend of Roc & Roll. Though he has left us in body, his music will live on this winter season!

ORIGINALS

Fridays, 5:00 - 7:30p
January 12 - March 16

Who's gonna keep us rock'n and roll'n? You! This program puts young songwriters together to allow them to express themselves with music and sound, and to learn invaluable interpersonal and group communication skills. Players will expand each other's musical sensibilities and hit the stage with a set of all-original material, composed and arranged by the entire group!

GOLDEN GATE ROCKERS

Wednesdays, 5p-7p
January 10 - March 14

Catered to our newest and most-curious rockers, this program focuses on learning basic music concepts, like melody, harmony and rhythm, and establishing the foundation for proper instrument technique. Active and critical listening skills are developed through weekly rehearsals and private lesson instruction, culminating in a live end-of-season performance!

Interested rockers ages 7-10 are strongly encouraged to enroll!

Interested?

The first step to enrolling your student is to come in for an assessment lesson! Select a time that works best for you, fill out the rest, and we'll be in touch very shortly! You can always email us at info@rockprojectsf.org or call us anytime at (415) 495-ROCK.
