MAKEUP and CANCELLATION POLICY
INDIVIDUAL LESSONS:
We require a 24 hour minimum notice to receive a makeup lesson. ALL RESCHEDULED/MAKE-UP LESSONS WILL RECEIVE A 30min LESSON as a make-up session, regardless of your current scheduled lesson duration (i.e. 45 min, 60min and 90min lesson durations will receive 30min makeup lessons). Additionally, students can redeem no more than three (3) makeups per calendar year; that are rescheduled prior to the 24 hour window.
Missing Lessons Due to Schedule Conflict*: We require a minimum of 24 hours prior to your lesson to reschedule your lesson and receive a makeup; Students can redeem no more than three (3) rescheduled lesson make-ups per calendar year; that are rescheduled prior to the 24 hour window.
Missing Lessons Due to Sickness*/OTHER: We completely understand that students often fall ill unexpectedly and need to cancel their lesson. We appreciate our members keeping our staff safe by staying home when not feeling well. Students can redeem ONE (1) lesson make-up for the reason of sickness or "unexcused" per calendar year w/ no required notice (this is within the 3 makeups).
Teacher Cancellation: Sometimes our teachers are sick or the like and may need to cancel a lesson. We will do our best to provide a substitute instructor. If we cannot provide a substitute, these instances will receive a FULL makeup for the originally scheduled lesson duration (i.e. full lesson time). There is no limit to these types of makeups. There is no expiration date on these makeup lessons (some documentation is required to redeem these makeups past a calendar year from the scheduled lesson(s)). If we have not redeemed the makeup within 90 days of the cancellation, you may request a refund for the single lesson.
GROUP PROGRAMS: If a student misses a group rehearsal or performance, there are NO makeups, refunds, credits, or options for reschedule, etc. Please see "WITHDRAWING FROM PROGRAMS" if your student does not wish to continue in their group.
*Makeup lessons prior to October 1st that are rescheduled within the above parameters do NOT carry over to the following calendar year (i.e. You had to reschedule a lesson from September 28th, 2024 but you couldn't find a time?; if you do not redeem your make-up lesson before January 1st 2025, the makeup lesson will no longer be valid or available to schedule; the only exception is if WE cancel a makeup lesson that you rescheduled). Lessons being rescheduled from October 1st on must be redeemed and rescheduled by April 1st of the following year (i.e. you had to cancel your session on October 4th, 2024; you have until April 1, 2025 to redeem your lesson make-up).
