ORIGINAL SONGWRITING
This program has been one of our mainstays since 2013. Each week the group gets together to hone and refine their original compositions for the stage - and the recording studio! JOIN US to open your creative mind more than ever!
Write songs or participate as a player on other people’s compositions. Our group has developed some standard songs that they have been playing for a while. These songs will be taught to new players to the group in preparation for the stage.
The group will also freely work on creating their own new original songs. There are no specific rules; the group writes collaboratively as a group all at once, and also has students who bring their ideas/songs to the group already arranged - in this case the group can be used as a backing band or the like.
Our instructors work to make sure that songs are progressing and that students are supported in the process.
